Why Good Tea Needs "Awakening" First — Have You Done the First Step After Bringing Leklai Home? (Complete Tutorial)

The "Tea Awakening" — Why It Cannot Be Skipped
For experienced tea practitioners, awakening the tea (醒茶) is one of the most important first steps — a quick rinse before proper brewing, to: rouse the dormant leaves from their sealed state; clear surface residue; allow leaves to begin opening in preparation for the main steep.
Skip the awakening and even the finest tea cannot show its best in the first proper steep.
Bringing Leklai Home — The First Step Is "Awakening the Stone"
From collection through transport, storage, and finally to your hands — across this journey, Leklai encounters many different energies. HARUKA performs the Living Stone Healing Cleansing Ritual before each piece leaves — but the first step upon bringing it home remains a recommended complete "stone awakening": clearing travel energy, returning to zero, beginning the connection with you in the purest state.
Complete Tutorial: Leklai's First Day Home
Step One: Prepare a basin of boiled, cooled clean water (sun-charged 30 minutes if possible).
Step Two: First water bath (awakening): Place Leklai in water, 10-15 minutes. Watch the bubbles rise quietly — each one is Leklai drinking, opening, awakening. Set intention: "Welcome to my home. Please clear all residual energy from your journey. Begin our connection in your purest state."
Step Three: Dry and first holding: Gently pat dry, hold in your palm. Close eyes, three deep breaths. Feel its weight, texture, temperature. Simple inner introduction: "I'm [your name]. I've brought you home. I'm glad to meet you."
Step Four: Set the first intention: "I brought you home hoping you'll help me with [primary need]. I commit to connecting with you earnestly every day and caring for you."
Step Five: Find it a position you love. Somewhere visible daily, somewhere that makes you happy each time you see it. Awakening complete. Connection officially begun.
